Overview
CarCue by Zeke Digital Solutions LLC plays audio you select on your iPhone. No CarCue account is required. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Audio and settings stored on your iPhone
When you import an audio file, CarCue copies it into the app’s local storage. It stores your sound library, file names and durations, selected sound, and playback volume on your device. CarCue does not upload your imported sounds or sound library to Zeke Digital Solutions servers.
Files, Shortcuts, and Siri
You choose audio through Apple’s file picker. Files selected from a cloud provider are subject to that provider’s terms. CarCue’s Play Car Sound action reads your saved selection and plays it through the iPhone’s audio output. Apple Shortcuts manages the CarPlay or Bluetooth automation trigger. Apple’s privacy terms apply to Shortcuts, Siri, and other Apple services.
App update checks
CarCue retrieves a version configuration file from zekedigitalsolutions.com to check whether an update is required. This request does not include your imported audio or sound library. Like other web requests, it exposes connection information such as your IP address to the website’s hosting provider. The app caches the version configuration locally.
Removing your data
Deleting a sound in CarCue removes the app’s imported copy and its library entry. It does not delete the original file you selected. You can remove the app and its local data from your iPhone and delete any related personal automation in Shortcuts. Device backups and cloud file copies are managed through Apple or your file provider.
